(Bloomberg) -- Defense software company Space-Eyes enlisted Eric Trump as an investor and adviser, expanding the first family's military technology portfolio amid criticism from ethics watchdogs and President Donald Trump's political opponents. Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr. became an adviser to the publicly listed drone parts manufacturer Unusual Machines Inc. in late 2024. "I truly believe in the future of this technology," Eric Trump said in a statement to Bloomberg News. Defense technology has been an area of particular focus, including at 1789 Capital, a venture fund where Donald Trump Jr. works as a partner. Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. maintain they are private investors.
