Illegal drugs were seized and three people arrested following a disturbance Thursday evening in downtown Brantford. A 41-year-old Brantford man was charged with possession of a controlled substance. A 31-year-old Brantford woman has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and assault. The third party, a 41-year-old Brantford man was charged with assault and causing a disturbance. Police said the individuals were known to each other, and injuries sustained during the altercation were minor.
