Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed during its latest earnings report that the format holder has sufficient RAM to meet its PS5 sales projections for the remainder of the current fiscal year.
The next few months are pretty major for Sony with the release of games such as Marvel’s Wolverine and Grand Theft Auto VI, the latter of which is sure to push console sales for PS5 even though it’s not exclusive to Sony’s system.
Historically GTA has always been a console mover, while Marvel’s Wolverine is one of the biggest first-party releases of the year.
As a result of this, the console maker is currently talking to retailers worldwide regarding these plans.
The company also announced that the PS5 has now shipped 95.3 million units worldwide since its launch in November 2020.
