play_arrow “Grief connects all of us” — Grief Happy Hour KGNU NewsThis evening at the East Window Gallery in North Boulder, artist and photographer Dona Laurita is hosting Grief Happy Hour. Erika Mahoney is the keynote speaker of tonight’s Grief Happy Hour, where she will discuss the loss of her father, Kevin, in the 2021 Boulder King Soopers shooting and her podcast on grief and her family’s story, Senseless. Mahoney said, “ What I really like about Grief Happy Hour is that even though the loss is so difficult and so hard and so gut-wrenching, grief in of itself can be beautiful because you learn so much about yourself, and you learn about the human experience.” Laurita is a co-founder of Grief Happy Hour.“ And so we created this grief happy hour to have an opportunity to come in, mingle with each other, and then have a program that is powerful and addresses just what grief and loss feels like.”
