Last Tuesday, ENHYPEN kicked off the United States leg of the “Blood Saga” tour at SDSU Mission Valley’s Snapdragon Stadium, marking the first time a K-pop group has performed at the venue. Their music explores self-discovery and is illustrated by consistent vampire imagery that sets them apart from other K-pop groups. ENHYPEN’s tour at Snapdragon Stadium has not only made K-pop performances more accessible to San Diego locals but has also provided ENGENEs in Mexico with an easier commute. Snapdragon Stadium opened in 2022 and is mainly used for athletics. Fans hope ENHYPEN’s success at Snapdragon Stadium could encourage entertainment companies to add stadium tour dates in the city and bring more K-pop groups to San Diego.
