The Newport Show wrapped up its 19th year last weekend at St. George’s School, drawing more than 1,000 visitors and adding to a cumulative fundraising total that has now surpassed $4.6 million for its two beneficiaries — the Newport Historical Society and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County. St. George’s ice rink was transformed into a custom gallery accommodating more than 40 dealer booths. “I am continuously impressed by the beautiful and one-of-a-kind pieces our dealers bring to the show and by the remarkable support our community demonstrates, year after year,” said Anne Hamilton, chair of The Newport Show and secretary of the Newport Historical Society Board of Directors. “We once again created a magical space within St. George’s and, best of all, every ticket purchased supported the Newport Historical Society and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County,” she said. “We are honored and grateful for the generosity shown by our community, made possible through this beloved annual tradition,” added Kelley Coen, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County.
