Comments in Hungarian media regarding the investigation into the one billion euros borrowed from Hungary only show that the Government secured a favorable loan for the country, according to PM Mickoski. Regarding the announcements that the new Hungarian PM, Magyar, will re-examine the loan, Mickoski also says that that refutes all previous accusations by the opposition that the loan was unfavorable and overly indebted future generations. In his view, the loan has contributed to increasing GDP and economic growth. SDSM, on the other hand, has criticized also the Government’s new loan from the state-owned JSC for navigation, M-NAV, as well as from the State Lottery, the state-owned electricity transmission system operator, MEPSO, and the Public Enterprise for State Roads itself to repay debt to Chinese creditors related to the highways.
