The last major intervention on Gostivar’s water supply network took place on May 7 of this year, according to the internet portal of the Komunalec (public utility) Public Enterprise (PE). Then, residents were warned of a 12-hour outage (from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) due to the relocation of the main water supply pipe due to works on Corridor 8 by Bechtel ENKA. There is active work on expanding the Tetovo-Gostivar and Gostivar-Bukojchani sections precisely around Gostivar. Financial Police Administration sources have said that the institution has received a letter marked “URGENT” from the Prosecutor’s Office to seize all financial documentation for the Gostivar II Water Supply project. The Office has confirmed for Telma that a separate case has been formed only in relation to the implementation of the project.
