For the first time since the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in 1954, women will play professional baseball in the U.S as part of a new Women's Pro Baseball League. For its first year, the Women’s Pro Baseball League will consist of four teams — The New York Heights, the Boston Hunters, The Los Angeles Queens and the San Francisco Firebells. Tell us about your experience playing baseball back when you were just a kid. I grew up with cousins playing baseball. With the national team, that was, at that time, the highest level for baseball in women's sports.
