It’s no wonder why so many folks today seem to feel “entitled.”
According to the dictionary, the word “entitled” means believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.
Many old-timers remember back in the 50s and 60s when the Nebraska State Rodeo Finals were held at Harrison, in the far Northwest corner of the state.
Those Whitaker kids from Chambers, Nebraska, won about everything there was to win.
One onlooker said, “If those Whitaker kids had their saddles on backwards, the rest of the kids would have tried to copy them!”
