The technical and fundamentals had their hands full over the last two weeks of the cattle futures. News came from every angle, but at least prices ended the week with a nice recovery from the lows. A gap lower in the charts from the beginning of the month measured to the levels we held. December live cattle futures have a gap in the chart at $230.175 for example which is now roughly $3.00 away. It will be a slow start getting ready to be back to full steam in my opinion.
