​​(w/o) Last week, Jazz90.1’s new redesigned Jack Mindy Master Control Suite went on the air. In 2023, Jazz90.1 began planning a multi-year equipment replacement project that included the purchase of a new broadcast transmitter in 2024, new computers and software in 2025, as well as this new master control suite this year. Jack rounded out his amazing career at Jazz90.1 WGMC-FM in 2009, where he served as Operations Manager and afternoon drive host. While Jack loved radio, he also loved cars and owned two vintage Peugeots. Soon after – Jazz90.1 dedicated one of his favorite rooms – our master control suite – in his name.
