Little Caesars Pizza celebrated its grand opening on July 23 at Pearson Plaza in Elliot Lake. The franchise is owned by Ajay Patel, a local businessman who also owns the nearby Subway sandwich shop on Hillside Drive South. Prior to the grand opening, the franchise conducted a soft opening, which Patel acknowledged as successful. To promote the new dining option, Little Caesars enlisted local radio station Moose FM for a special giveaway on the day of the opening. Corporate representatives from Little Caesars, including Cathy Begley (brand marketing manager), Mike Therrian (global director of international development), Kevin Winters (development manager for Canada), and Carey Smith, (franchise business consultant) were present to support Patel.
