Second, the reputation of scientists has suffered a blow through Fauci and others during the COVID fiasco. They were the Democrat mayors who stuffed COVID patients into nursing homes, where the most vulnerable people could be found. They were the ones in the media who daily vomited panic and who, even now, suppress facts about the COVID fiasco and the panic they fostered (and are still defending Fauci). Because they did what physicians have done for centuries: gave second opinions, treated patients, and refused to kill their patients. Sixth, it is well and good that Republicans are becoming militant with regard to the COVID farce.
