Every year, a whole host of new innovations show up in the seeds the seed companies are hawking for farmers and ranchers to buy. I call them “stylish seeds” because most of them involve a new coat of some sort. There are seeds with herbicide coats, fertilizer coats and inoculation coats. I’ve got an idea for a new seed coat. How about some seeds coated with sponge?
