Unmanned Ground Vehicle delivering cargo to the front-lineSince the start of 2026 alone, unmanned ground vehicles (UGV)s have carried out 66,300 missions, taking on the riskiest logistics and evacuation tasks, the Ukrainian MoD said Friday. Various uits of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have already received 1,028 unmanned ground vehicles of various configurations worth a total of UAH 487 million ($112 million) so far this year. Since the start of the year, over 22,000 unmanned ground vehicles have been contracted, nearly double the total for all of last year. Trained UGV operators are another systemic need. The number of UGV operators to graduate from that school is not known.
