Dive Brief:Spinx has named Troy Hulehan chief of staff and executive vice president of store development, a spokesperson from the convenience retailer confirmed to C-Store Dive. Spinx, which has more than 90 stores across the Carolinas, debuted a food-focused alternative format store, Spinx Market & Eatery, in Greenville in 2024. The site offers made-to-order flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and bakery items, as well as grocery items and Spinx's popular fried chicken. So far, the company has only opened one location in that format.
