Trump, who was hosting a cabinet meeting at the presidential retreat Camp David on Friday, was asked about whether he had discussed the matter with FIFA president Infantino.

The FIFA president has already had controversial dealings with Trump.
During the World Cup, Trump said he had personally asked Infantino to “review” the red card shown to United States striker Folarin Balogun, who subsequently saw his one-match suspension for their last-16 clash against Belgium revoked in an unprecedented move at a World Cup.
