Holidaymakers at a Greek coastal resort were evacuated by boat after it was cut off by wildfires and shrouded in smoke.
Fishing boats, coastguard patrol boats and a fire service vessel rescued tourists from the town of Agios Vasileios, west of Athens.
Tourists were pictured covering their mouths and noses with handkerchiefs to protect themselves, as they waited on a concrete jetty.
