A benefits cheat who claimed he was "too weak" to lift a phone was caught running 10km and climbing scaffolding.

On June 22, 2023, he paid an entry fee to enter a 10km race, which he completed a month later.
He said he was "too weak" to lift a phone and had difficulty being outside for more than a few minutes.
Addressing the court, Scott told magistrates: "I would like to apologise for any trouble I have caused to anyone.
