On a childhood trip to Toronto, Kingston-born artist Aaron Forsyth was introduced to street art. His art is recognized all across Kingston, including works like Agnes Etherington Art Centre’s “Transformation” graffiti wall, now removed due to current renovations. The mural features imagery from The Hip’s final concert, centring large artwork of Gord Downie. “I have Gord Downie very large, close to the sidewalk. The band is iconic, and being that they’re so well known and they’re from Kingston, I feel like it’s a big responsibility to represent that,” he said.
