A Nightmare on Elm Street, created by Wes Craven, completely changed the horror landscape when it debuted in 1984. According to a new report from Puck, both Warner Bros. and Paramount are now developing their own versions of A Nightmare on Elm Street. Warner Bros. is said to be eyeing Lee Cronin to write, direct, and produce its version of the film. After spending more than a decade off the big screen, A Nightmare on Elm Street deserves a return worthy of its legacy. At the moment, neither Warner Bros.' nor Paramount's A Nightmare on Elm Street remake has an official release date.
