BSIC‑Gambia has reaffirmed its commitment to community development by donating D275,000 to the Pipeline Mosque Foundation as part of its corporate social responsibility. Officials highlighted that BSIC‑Gambia introduced an Islamic Banking Window in 2023, becoming the first conventional bank in The Gambia licensed to operate both conventional and Islamic banking systems. He noted that the Islamic Banking Window now offers ethical, transparent, and Shariah‑compliant products tailored to personal and business needs. Receiving the donation, Alhaji Momodou Senghore, First Vice President of the Pipeline Mosque Foundation, expressed gratitude to the bank. Foundation Treasurer Seedy Njie also thanked BSIC‑Gambia for its intervention, describing the donation as timely and vital for the upkeep of the Mosque.
