KAPUSKASING — Two individuals are facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation that led to the execution of a search warrant and the seizure of approximately $10,600 worth of suspected illicit drugs. Article contentThe warrant stemmed from a drug trafficking investigation conducted by the James Bay detachment’s Community Street Crime Unit. As a result of the investigation, police seized approximately 15 grams of suspected fentanyl and 31 grams of suspected cocaine, with an estimated combined street value of $10,600. Police also seized approximately $3,000 in Canadian currency, cellular phones, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Both accused were held in custody pending the outcome of a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice.
