A Zelienople woman has been placed in the Butler County Prison after she allegedly assaulted staff at Butler Memorial Hospital. Police were called to the hospital on Wednesday just before 9 p.m. for a woman that assaulted staff and security. When hospital staff and security walked Cannon out of the building, she allegedly used a sandal to hit a hospital employee in the back of the head and opened hand slapped the victim across the face. Cannon then left the hospital, but continued to cause a disturbance outside when she allegedly spit in a nurse’s face.
