The national finals and award distribution ceremony of the 21st East West University Astro-Olympiad 2026 were held at East West University on Friday, said a press release. The event was organised by the Bangladesh Astronomical Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology. A total of 210 contestants from across the country, competing in junior and senior groups, took part in the national final examination held on the university campus in the morning. After the examination, the participants attended two special shows at the Planetarium of the National Science and Technology Museum (Novotheater). Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Md Anwar Hossain attended the event as the chief guest.
