Mineral Springs School Board Approves Handbooks, Bids Ahead of New School Year

The Mineral Springs School Board approved several items to prepare for the upcoming school year during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday.
Board members unanimously approved a student transfer request with a 6-0 vote.
The board also approved food bids for the 2026-27 school year from Ben E. Keith and Tankersley, along with the district’s milk bid from Hiland Dairy.
In other business, board members approved Policy 1.11 regarding Board Member Training for the 2026-27 school year, as well as the remaining Arkansas School Boards Association policy updates.
Superintendent JonDavid Amerson informed board members of updates to the Student Handbook, including revised early graduation procedures.
