The Rother Valley Railway has reported that work is ahead of schedule in the construction of a level crossing across Northbridge Street in Robertsbridge. The level crossing is required as part of the reconstruction and reopening of the railway line between Bodiam and Robertsbridge in East Sussex, connecting it to the Kent & East Sussex Railway and the mainline network. The slabs are a proven solution for level crossings, and have been on site for some time at Northbridge Street and at all other crossings.
