Ember LifeSciences has entered a capital and business alliance with Alfresa Corporation, the largest domestic pharmaceutical wholesaler in Japan by net sales, to improve the quality of pharmaceutical cold chain logistics across the country.1 The deal gives Alfresa exclusive sales rights to Ember's cold chain technology in Japan's healthcare sector and adds Alfresa as a Series A preferred stock investor in Ember, joining existing backers Amgen, Cardinal Health, Carrier and Sea Court Capital.
