Rising over seven spots in just two years, Emerson College’s film program is now ranked fifth best in the country by The Hollywood Reporter. Chapman and NYU have also integrated AI into their curriculum, ranking second and fourth, respectively. “We’re honored to be recognized among the top five film programs in the country” Interim Dean of the School of Film, Television, and Media Arts Shaun Clarke said. Grahame-Smith, the announcement said, will also award four film students with an annual, need-based scholarship which will last throughout the duration of their time at the college. Last year, the Hollywood Reporter ranked Emerson’s film program as the sixth best, and as 12th best in 2024, according to Emerson Today.
