The public is invited to join Mountain West UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) during its annual picnic on Saturday, August 8. The picnic will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held in the BV Drone Training Park. “Come socialize with the Mountain West UAS leadership team, members, and guests while enjoying a relaxed morning of flying, sharing stories, and comparing notes with fellow drone pilots.” Per the Mountain UAS event release, the event “offers a great opportunity to connect with the local drone community in a casual, fun environment.” To get to the drone training park, attendees can take Gregg Drive to South Rodeo Road, turn right at the UAS Park sign, then turn left into the Drone Training Park.
