On Tuesday, July 28, the Buena Vista (BV) Board of Trustees approved an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for the development of a Park-N-Ride facility. CDOT initially reached out to the town about a Park-N-Ride concept in 2020. The new pickup location for the Bustang is in the parking lot near the railroad, just north of Crave in BV. The proposed location for this Park-N-Ride facility is along County Road 317. Per the packet memo, “CDOT will allocate funds to the town and administer the project through their local agency project program.
