Talking Point: What Was The First Gears Of War Game You Ever Played?

I played Gears of War a couple of days prior to its release because I received the disc early in the post. As for Gears of War 3, I distinctly remember being first in a queue outside Game in Plymouth, waiting for the store to open at midnight for the launch of the game. When I got into the store, I was served second, because the other person only bought the game, whereas I bought a GoW3 console, a GoW3 controller and the game. I then got home and played the game straight away, and it was simply awesome. As someone that has poured well over 2000 hours into Horde in Gears 5, to suddenly be faced with not having that option in E-Day is utterly saddening.
