Renaissance polyphony and high baroque splendour abound in this glorious festival of sound, with works by Lassus, Byrd, Tallis and Gabrieli sitting alongside baroque instrumental concertos from Handel and Vivaldi, and a contemporary work by New Zealand composer Ross Harris.
