Rivian has upped the number of electric vans delivered to Amazon by 33% compared to the end of last year. Amazon now has over 40,000 custom-made Rivian electric delivery vans in its fleet, the EV startup said in its second-quarter earnings report. The lovable van, which was originally known as the Electric Delivery Van (EDV), was developed specifically for Amazon. After four years on the market, the Rivian Commercial Van is due for some significant improvements.
