Indianola junior Easton McGraw (left) following his 2nd-place finish in the 4A 400m hurdles on FridayComing in at #6 on the Top 10 stories of the 2025-2026 Indianola athletic year was the Indianola boys track and field seventh-place finish in Class 4A at the 2026 State Track and Field meet. The Indian boys team sent over 20 athletes to the state meet. Indianola’s run in the blue oval was led by Junior Easton McGraw, who placed second in both the 400m hurdles and high jump. McGraw says he was pleased with the way he outperformed himself at the state meet compared to the Drake Relays. Also on the boys side, highlights included Indianola finishing fifth in the 800 sprint medley relay, runner-up in the 1600m sprint medley relay, and fourth in the 4x400m relay.
