Monday’s severe weather outbreak spawned at least seven tornadoes in the Chicago area, but an “unusual” twister hit the same suburb twice, officials say. It then crossed Interstate 80 a third time, and ripped through the north side of Homewood, knocking over double-stacked shipping containers weighing 75 tons each according to officials. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the tornado, which was one of seven the National Weather Service says hit the area.
