By Taxpayers Association of Oregon Foundation,Portland police arrested a naked man accused of trying to kidnap a 7-year-old girl from Tom McCall Waterfront Park, according to KPTV.com. The mother said she held onto her daughter’s right arm and struck at the man. Police arrested 31-year-old Daniel Christopher Vasey as he was wading into the Willamette River on charges that included attempted kidnapping and assault. Records indicate the Multnomah County Detention Center had released Vasey several hours earlier after he was accused of trespassing in Gresham. Kate Brown released early and now being linked to the death of five women.
