Victor Wembanyama is looking forward to being part of the French national team for the first time since Paris hosted the 2024 Olympics, according to a Eurohoops report. After missing last summer’s EuroBasket, the Spurs big man will return to international competition with four games next month. “Coming back here does my heart a lot of good,” Wembanyama said, per the French site BasketUSA. “I don’t miss the NBA at the moment, but I do miss FIBA.” Prior to returning to the court for the first time since San Antonio’s loss in the NBA Finals, Wembanyama will hold his second annual basketball and chess tournament in Nanterre.
