Medziphema, July 31 (MExN): The ICAR–National Research Centre on Mithun (ICAR–NRC on Mithun), Medziphema, in collaboration with ICAR–Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Phek, concluded a five-day training programme on "Scientific Mithun Management and Value Addition of Mithun Products" on July 31. The training, held from July 27 to 31, was attended by 20 mithun farmers from Pholami village in Phek district. The programme aimed to enhance farmers' knowledge and skills in scientific mithun rearing while promoting value addition and entrepreneurship. ICAR–NRC on Mithun and ICAR–KVK, Phek said the initiative reflects their commitment to strengthening farmers' capacities, promoting scientific mithun farming practices, encouraging value addition, and supporting sustainable livelihood development in the Northeast region.
