The new hydrogen peroxide megaplant in Leshan, Sichuan Province, China, has officially started production under Fuhua's operation and Evonik's licensing technology. Production has begun at the new hydrogen peroxide megaplant operated by Fuhua and licensed by Evonik in Leshan, Sichuan Province, China. With an annual capacity of 200 kilotons, the facility is one of the largest in the region for industrial-grade hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂). The project was completed only 2.5 years after Fuhua and Evonik signed the licensing agreement in November 2023. In addition to its proprietary H₂O₂ technology, Evonik supplied key process equipment, catalysts, and working solution for the facility.
