Oxfordshire scout group receives £500 donation from county fund

The money has been given as part of the Councillor Priority Fund, which allows each county councillor a budget of £10,000 they can use to support community projects in their area.
This money was provided by James Robertshaw who said it was to develop the troop’s new facility in South Leigh.

Richard Lord, Chair of Trustees of Witney Buttercross Scout Group said "We're very grateful to James for the donation to our hardship fund.
“This will enable young people, from hard pressed Witney families, to join the 350 young people already enjoying the scouting experience and activities in Witney".
