Industry and Trade Minister Ryad Mezzour said the territorial approach aims to significantly cut the carbon footprint of industrial sites while strengthening their appeal and competitiveness. Water management is also being reinforced, including wastewater recycling and stricter standards for industrial discharge. Longer term, the kingdom aims to build an integrated green industrial ecosystem capable of locally manufacturing solar panel and wind turbine components, building on its growing green hydrogen potential.
