Danvers - Eileen (Hudson) Amore, 92, beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Amore, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at the Brudnick Center in Peabody, surrounded by her family. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Nora (Cannon) Hudson. Eileen was raised and educated in Lynn and was a proud graduate of Lynn English High School in 1951. Eileen played basketball in her youth and carried that love of sports into adulthood, enjoying tennis, cross-country skiing, golf, and biking. In addition to her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Joseph M. Amore, her sisters, Geraldine Gowell, Barbara Nichols, and Mary Stoddart, and five half-siblings.
