Nauru Launches First Pacific Digital Assets ForumJuly 23, 2026The Office of the Trade Commissioner of the Republic of Nauru to the United Arab Emirates today announced the launch of the Pacific Digital Assets Forum (PDAF). The Forum is the first regional platform dedicated exclusively to digital assets and digital finance across the Pacific, established to promote responsible digital asset regulation, informed policy dialogue and international collaboration. The launch also marks the introduction of two flagship initiatives scheduled to debut in the fourth quarter of 2027: the Pacific Digital Assets Report, the Forum’s flagship annual publication examining regulatory developments, market trends and digital finance across the Pacific; and the inaugural Pacific Digital Assets Conference, the first edition of an annual regional event that will rotate between Pacific Island nations. The Report will feature the inaugural Pacific Digital Assets Regulatory Index, providing a comparative assessment of digital asset regulatory developments across Pacific Island jurisdictions. The Pacific Digital Assets Forum has been established with that long-term vision in mind.“
