The Twins added some needed bullpen help Friday morning, formally announcing the acquisition of left-hander A.J. Minter from the Mets in exchange for minor league infielders Billy Amick and Bruin Agbayani. An impending free agent, Minter is making an $11MM salary in the second season of his two-year free agent deal. As shown on MLBTR’s new Payroll Tracker, Minnesota had an approximate $101.4MM payroll before the trade. Jeff Passan of ESPN first reported the Twins were acquiring Minter.
