Scotland's Melanie Woods has won the Commonwealth Games women's 1500m T54 for the second time in under 40 hours after streaking to victory in the restaged final - however England's Ellis Kottas could not replicate her silver medal. Woods set a new Games record to triumph in Glasgow on Wednesday evening, but it emerged on Thursday morning that Para-athletics authorities had decided the race should be held again following appeals surrounding a first-lap crash. "I'm happy, I'm excited, but it feels like relief, to be honest," Woods told BBC Sport Scotland, after backing up the triumph with a win in her 400m heat 90 minutes later. Kottas, though, finished fourth, having said she was "low-key traumatised" when it became known that the race result was overturned. "If I had that original medal, with half the competitors wiped out, it wouldn't have been on my own merit.
