A big announcement was leaked on Monday as Georgia’s three annual SEC opponents beginning in 2026 were revealed. The SEC gives Georgia the perfect annual opponentsThe first reason Georgia owes the SEC a “thank you” is because they kept UGA’s two traditional rivalries in tact. The SEC however did have a big decision to make on who Georgia’s third annual opponent would be as they could’ve gone a lot of different directions. But the conference went with South Carolina which is about as good as it can get. Rarely are they good enough to compete for an SEC Championship, so they shouldn’t be a team that challenges Georgia too much over the next four years.
