I’m afraid the combination of exercise, fresh air and ambient environment just can’t be bested by any IT. I suppose the fact that I’ve spent most of my life without devices being instantaneously available may explain part of it, but my outdoor career and general outlook also come into play. I often note others my own age that can’t put their phones away, and miss out on the reality around them every day, to their own disadvantage.
