Ciaran Gallagher has returned to Finn Harps as the new goalkeeping coach. Gallagher played 251 times for Harps between 2009 and 2019 - no goalkeeper has played more for the club in its history. Gallagher, who kept a total of 74 clean sheets, was a fans’ favourite at Finn Park and will be a popular appointment by the new boss. Derry native McEleney was appointed this week to succeed Kevin McHugh in the Harps hot seat. Shane McEleney has come back to Harps as a coach having played for the club in 2020 and 2021.
